BUSINESS ACTIVITY:

Formed in 1993 by Rob and Hilary Lyons, Eagle Alarms (Eastern) Ltd. is based in the Eastern Suburbs of Auckland. Prior to the formation of a separate company in 1993, Rob contracted to other Companies for the installation of security systems for a period of four years.

The supply, installation, maintenance and servicing of Security Alarm systems, including CCTV and intercoms if necessary.

24 hour, seven day a week Monitoring Service is available through our own in house Monitoring Station.

TERRITORY:

While based primarily in the Eastern Suburbs, Eagle Alarms (Eastern) Ltd. has the capacity to provide security system advice and installation for the greater Auckland area, and in fact throughout New Zealand. If necessary this can be achieved by linking into the other companies in the Eagle Alarms group, all of which are licensed by the Justice Department.

PRODUCTS:

All products installed comply with the N.Z. Standards, and where possible New Zealand made equipment, manufactured by Micron, is used. Micron products have an excellent reputation, and this, coupled with their technical support staff makes them our preferred supplier. A two-year guarantee is standard on all security systems, and this is extendable to five years, subject only to regular servicing.

SERVICES:

An inspection, advice and quotation service is provided free of charge. Appointments are arranged at times to suit prospective clients, and this is often after hours or in the weekends.

Generally inspections/quotations are completed within 24 hours, and installations within 72 hours.

Emergency service is available 24 hours a day.

COSTS:

A basic security system consists of two passive infared sensors, a keypad, an internal siren, an external siren with a flashing light, and two batteries. The price of this system, fully installed, is $799.00 GST inclusive. This system is capable of being monitored.

Additional products such as panic switches, extra sensors, remote control units, and intercoms are available for an additional charge.

MONITORING COSTS:

Current charge for residential customers is $26.00 per month, while for business customers it is $36 per month.
